Dress up games for girls

Dress up games are for both boys and girls!
It seems every little girl loves to play dress up games for girls. She loves to raid her mommy's closet, putting on pretty party dresses, shoes, hats and gloves. When dressing up, little girls rarely go for their mother’s regular exercise clothes, jeans, or anything common. She will invariably choose the prettiest, frilliest and fanciest outfit to put on. Neither will she choose the house slippers or sneakers, but the ankle turning three inch heels. With her costume on she is now ready for a tea party, or to play house with her favorite doll.
But Boys enjoy
dress up games too (that's why it shouldn't be "for girls"...). They like to put on their father’s big shoes and stomp around in them, pretending to be the Dad. They also enjoy wearing different costumes, like a cowboy, police man or a fireman’s clothes. Wearing a hard hat and big boots he becomes a construction worker or dump truck driver. If he puts on one of his Dad’s old boy scout hats he becomes a serviceman fighting in the war.
Dress up games for girls are for both boys and girls. Although wearing grown up clothes and pretending to be adults is great fun for boys and girls, dress up games are actually a form of intellectual maturing. When playing these girl games, young ladies are learning social skills. When wearing their mother’s clothes and taking care of their baby dolls, they are learning how to be mother’s themselves. Boys are learning how to be workers and family providers, and also Dads too.
Most kid’s games are all about learning social skills and maturity. They learn how to interact with one another, how to mediate problems, and how to lose or win graciously.
Dress up games for girls are the right vehicle that helps boys and girls to grow up.
